Related content
Related content shows what connects to a page without a search: the notes that link to it, the notes that name it without a link, the notes whose field points at it, and any saved searches its supertag brings in.

Read the linked notes
Under the outline of a page, the linked notes are listed under a heading that counts the places, which the app writes as “References · 3 locations”. Each row names a note and shows its location, such as Inbox › Projects. Click a row to open that note. The list shows up to 50 notes, then says how many more there are. Until something links to the page, the section stays hidden.
Find unlinked mentions and link them
An unlinked mention is a note whose text names this page without linking to it. They are listed in a second section, headed Unlinked mentions with a count. Each row has a Link button, which turns the name in that note into a link to the page. The section can be shown or hidden with its heading.
Notes that point at a page through a field
When a note field holds a page, that page gets a section of the notes that set the field to it. The section is headed with the field's label for the other side and a count, such as Tasks · 3 for a Project field whose other side is called Tasks. The list is read from the workspace's index each time, so it matches the notes that set the field.
Saved searches a supertag brings in
A supertag can name saved searches as its related content. Each note that carries the supertag then shows a section for each search, with the notes that match it. The supertag's Configure pane has the related content editor, and each search shows either in the inspector or below the page. See Saved searches.
Use the inspector
View ▸ Show Related Content opens the inspector on Related content. The inspector has three modes: Related content, Configure and Details. In Related content, the linked notes and unlinked mentions come first, then one section for each saved search that is set to show in the inspector. The inspector is offered on note pages.
Combine it
- References in several placesA reference shows the same note in a second place, so the note's own page is the one place to read or edit it.
- Searches for each supertagA supertag's saved search can show as related content on every note that carries the supertag.
- Pages beside each otherOpen the page beside the note you are reading, and check what links to it in the inspector.
- Fields that point at pagesA field that holds a note names a page, and that page can list the notes that name it.
Limits
- Each list shows up to 50 notes, then a line says how many more there are.
